G'Ma and Mia gave Milah a bath while Danny and I had a little date night  -- we sat on a big sculpture and talked about the GMAT, his strategies, and our future.

Then...Danny took the GMAT and did SO well! He got a 750. Thanks to fasting and so many prayers from family and friends he scored higher than any of his practice tests!!!

Since this is our journal, and I'm his wifey, I get to write how outstanding his score is. 750 is 98th percentile of test takers and way above Harvard and Stanford's mean and median scores. I also want to always remember how blessed we feel for this result. So much of this depended on the Lord as Dan studied every moment he could while keeping up relationships at his brand new job, managing new renters and repairs on our town home, fulfilling his calling, AND making time for Milah and me (we've been spending about 1 hr a day together for the last couple of weeks). That is such a feat to juggle all of those things and still put in some amazingly focused GMAT hours. However, while he did all he could, only the Lord could magnify and bless his work and help him to work so well under the adrenaline and stress of the test that he got a score that opens up many doors for MBA. We feel so blessed!!!

Dan's mom bought us a celebratory/birthday Chipotle dinner out, which we took to the beach for a picnic! Half Moon Bay was so beautiful! I loved all the flowers and fruit stands and the Monterey/Shelter Cove-like feel of the community. We were freezing and danced during our meal to stay warm, but it was a fun trip and fun to see the California beach!

The family at Half Moon Bay beach. It was so fun but so, so cold! It was misting-raining.
