You live and you learn...and try not to kill your kids while you're at it!
We routinely put a blanket over Milah's bassinet attachment of her crib to block out the light and take away the distraction of looking around so she sleeps better. One day I decided she's probably cold so I pointed our space heater at her crib. Brilliant, Alyssa....the problem was I didn't take off the blanket over it. That blanket was perfect to trap in the heat and create a mini-sauna. She woke up drenched in sweat!

I just have to smile! We ALL do things like that. ;)
