Visit to Boston Children's Hospital

We learned that babies (especially females) who are breech often have hip abnormalities as a result of their strange position in the womb.
So Milah and I traveled to the lovely Boston Children's Hospital to get an ultrasound. The Boston Children's Hospital is a marvelous place with lots of fun sculptures and art galleries and you go on a world tour through each room; we were in the Australia room :)
Yes, Milah's hips are slightly abnormal so she may need to be in a brace or a sling to fix them during this month's time while they are forming.

Happy 4th of July!

I began the day by painting my gorgeous anniversary peonies

We ate lunch at beautiful gardens near the pier.
Milah spends so much time on my shoulder lifting herself up like so...tummy time all day long!
We saw old battle ships like you see in figurines and models.  Dan's artistic work at the pier.
Milah has a new favorite toy! She loved staring at the umbrella.

The Boston Pops Concert! We got rained out, but that meant we came home and watched the fireworks from our kitchen window...and that we got to go to sleep early :)

Our Little Sleepyhead

If Milah were one of the 7 Dwarfs she would be called Sleepy...
Dan moved her from our bed to her little chair this morning about 6am and she's been sleeping all day! Crazy little one!
Yesterday I interrupted her nap to take her to dinner for our anniversary and she wasn't able to fall asleep until 9 or 10pm last night...then I fed her about 5 am and she was pretty alert...now she's slept till almost 2 in the afternoon! I don't know how she grows without feeding so often, but the experts say not to worry, the babies wake up before they're too hungry :)

Happy Second Anniversary!

We had a lovely evening! We visited to the Boston Commons and Public Gardens downtown where we enjoyed a beautiful walk by lakes with white swans on them and palm trees and willow trees and a view of the city skyline. Quite serene! Also, we went to PF Chang's (one of my very favorite restaurants) and looked into the steinway piano shop though it was closed. We wrote down our prediction of where our lives will be next year on our anniversary, it was quite fun! Dan bought me beautiful roses and we had our own little blossom with us all evening.
Thank you Danny for a happy two years of being sealed in the temple for time and all eternity, bound on earth and in heaven. I am grateful this immense joy and contentment continues forever because of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Boston Museum of Fine Arts

Saturday we visited the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
It was a delightful experience!
Here are a few of our favorite things we saw.

When I was young, my mom bought me a replica of the picture on the left when she saw this painting in Chicago. It meant so much when she brought it home and it's hung in my room ever since.
