We Girls Love Cooking Together!

Her favorite food...pomegranates! We eat many each week, usually on the front porch in the mornings.

 I love this bread from a book called "Healthy Bread in 5 Minutes A Day."

This was  a delicious dinner! Fresh squeezed orange juice, pita sandwich (on the left), hummus and veggies, falafels, and Algerian flat bread.


 I tried making homemade pumpkin pie from a home cooked pumpkin -- it was great! And I didn't forget the sugar this time (I've done that before).

This was an awesome recipe for Root Vegetables Patrice came up with when I asked her how I could use celery root. Bake at 400 for 25 mins or until soft. Red potatoes, parsnip, golden beets, purple beets, fresh rosemary, turnip, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and red onions. So so delicious!

My favorite breakfast/lunch. It's Wasa light rye "bread" with avocado, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil. Oh, and spike as the spice. I eat it often!
